Hongdae is always on the Top 3 rank of tourist attractions where tourists have to visit. Anyone who would like to know about Korean university student’s night life, who loves K-pop, who would like to try Korean food or local drinking, who would like to learn about Korean drinking games is welcome. We will show you around and give explanations about Hongdae while moving, and we will have Korea’s best food, Korean BBQ. Also we will have a drink after dinner where ‘only’ locals know, which have a traditional mood. If you want to feel the real Korean thing, don’t hesitate.

Course information

Hongdae: Hongdae is a famous tourist attraction in Seoul for its night life. Because there is a university, the street is always full of delicious food, so many things to see, many things for shopping. Not only tourists visit this street, many locals (especially 20s) also visit Hongdae and enjoy the night life. Also there are many K-pop buskings on the street.

Dinner : We are going to eat Korean BBQ, which is one of the most popular Korean food. There is a special way how Koreans eat pork belly, so we will introduce it.

Drinking: Korea is famous for its own alcohol, soju. Besides soju, there is a milky rice wine called ‘dongdongju’ and ‘makgeolli’. We will try many different kinds of drinks and also introduce the typical Korean drinking culture. Also, we will learn how Korean local university students play drinking games.

Finish: We will go back to Hongdae Station.
